Millions of people travel by air every day, unfortunately injuries do occur on commercial flights. We hear of passengers who are burned, elderly passengers dropped during transport, passengers are not provided with medical care and even passengers who lose their hearing when cabins depressurize.

As a passenger an airline owes you the highest duty of care. In some jurisdictions this has been interpreted to mean that an airline owes both a duty of utmost care and the vigilance of a very cautious person towards its passengers. If you have been injured on a flight, know your rights, and know the duty of care that an airline owes you.
